Cap founded The Cap James Music Ministry – Riverland in 2018.
Cap cut his teeth on Big Band and other music in the 1960’s; and after a brief interlude to raise a family and practice law, Cap moved to Columbia in 2003 and became active in jazz, concert and improv at USC, and has played in various dance bands, concert bands, church orchestras and even a German Festival band, and is still active with many of those groups.
Cap is proud to be associated with the very talented members of Riverland, who share the passion of preserving the traditions and sounds of the best years of music and in serving and sharing that music with deserving community charitable, religious and civic organizations.
