Many event holders just don’t have the budget to be able to afford a Big Band of 14 musicians or more.
So The Cap James Music Ministry has formed The Cap James Combo, which consists of about 9
members. The Cap James Combo plays the same kind of songs that the larger Big Band does, only more
economically.
The Cap James Combo plays for Sunday Brunches, dinner dances, weddings, Senior Living Centers,
Church and Charity events, corporate and private parties. We can perform as “background music” or in
concert fashion.
Usual bookings are for 2 sets played over a 2-2.5 hour period, but can be for a shorter or longer time.
Pricing will depend upon the number of musicians, play time and even extended distances.
For smaller events with even more limited budgets, The Cap James Music Ministry has formed The Cap
James Trio.
The Cap James Trio has traditionally played for Senior Living Centers and Churches, but can play at other
venues. In addition to playing standard songs, The Cap James Trio specializes in playing contemporary
and traditional worship songs.
